New Roots Herbal: The Power of Nutraceuticals in Mental Wellness
Saturday Aug 20, 2022
Saturday Aug 20, 2022
Overview:
The prolonged state of hypervigilance that the world is experiencing can be exhausting. The result of prolonged, on-going stress to the body, including infections, can induce neuroinflammation and result in poor focus, concentration, fatigue and even mood changes. When considering patient care, it is important that prevention and management include treatment of inflammation. To support holistic care within our clients, it is imperative that we strategically combine herbs and nutraceuticals which deliver powerful therapeutic benefit and symptom relief.
Dr. Khamba will also be including clinical examples of how addressing inflammation as a root cause to aiding in mental health care can be implemented. In her interview with Kate, Baljit will talk about her experience in research and best practices in patient care for treatment. Dr. Khamba employs a strategic evidence-based approach to her patient care which involves empowering her patients and delivering clinical care focused on nutrition, botanicals, homeopathics, traditional Asian medicines and lifestyle counselling. This interview will help deepen your clinical practice and knowledge base on the root cause of inflammation in mental health.

Overview
Kate talks about vaginal and bladder health conditions, running a clinic and solving problems.
Speaker Bio
I support clients to take back control of their bodies; so they feel physically empowered rather than dominated by their symptoms.
My clinic specialises in intimate health conditions - chronic bladder, vulva, and vaginal conditions. This also covers menopause and hormonal conditions as there is such a close connection between hormonal changes and these intimate sites.
I am a nutritional therapist, bespoke chef and a culinary teacher. I qualified from the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, in 2014. My first love was food, I was a chef from the age of 18, so my philosophy is that food and eating should be an enjoyable experience, but also a healthy one.
